I was a big fan of Ryan Spindell’s debut the horror anthology The Mortuary Collection since I caught last year at Fantastic Fest. Unfortunately I caught the film at the tail end of the fest and didn’t really get a chance to cover it after catching it at that fateful late night screening. Well, when I heard it was screening at Fantasia this year, I had to chat with the director and check out the film for the second time. I was impressed all over again with his take on one of my favorite sub-genres.
So here’s a pretty raw in depth chat about the film, that’s relatively spoiler-free and even touches a bit on the film’s planned digital release, where I am sure this film will find the following it deserves.
