We wanted to have one giveaway during our launch week in which we picked some of our all-time favorite films to give away in their ultimate home video editions. And to reflect our love of all kinds of different films, we chose a couple of really exciting titles that are worlds apart!
WHAT WE’RE GIVING AWAY
2 PRIZES
One lucky winner will win the Criterion Collection’s Blu-ray edition of Akira Kurosawa’s Seven Samurai! This is very much the most definitive edition of this film available on home video and is a must-own for cinephiles.
A second lucky winner will get the recent Mad Max Trilogy box set! Easily one of the greatest action series in film history, this box set is the first time US fans have been able to buy the whole trilogy together as a set and the first time the third film, Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome, has ever been available on Blu-ray!

- We’re going to let this contest last for 2 weeks, so we’ll announce the winners on Wednesday, Sept. 18th. Until we’ve announced the winner, feel free to continue entering!
- We’ll randomly select a winner from each of the entries we receive, and we’ll double check to make sure you fulfilled the requirements. If you don’t fulfill the requirements, we’ll move on to the next randomly selected winner!
- If you win, we’ll contact you via Twitter or email to get your shipping address and to congratulate you personally! We’ll also announce the names (only) of our winners on the site.
- We welcome international contestants, but we’re all doing this out of pocket — so if you win and you’re outside the United States we ask that you pay for shipping.
