You know how all the trailers and marketing materials for Liam Neeson’s The Grey kind of made you feel like it was going to be an action movie featuring actual wolf punching? It turned out to be something infinitely better, but it left us all hankering for a pack of punched wolves.
Enter Chinese director and star Wu Jing, who ensures that in his movie called Wolf Warrior, some elite Chinese soldiers are most certainly going to beat the shit out of a pack of wolves. For China!!!
Perhaps more importantly than fighting wolves, Wu Jing also squares off against Cinapse team favorite Scott Adkins, here playing a villain role and, accordingly, shooting off rocket launchers at the good guys whilst sporting a goatee.
In anticipation of Wolf Warrior’s release, and our giveaway, the Cinapse team even selected previous Scott Adkins effort Universal Soldier: Day Of Reckoning as our Two Cents Film Club pick last week.
