The contest has ended. Congrats to the winner!
The North American box office suggests that many of you who will read this did not see Duncan Jones’ giant fantasy video game adaptation Warcraft. And the Tomatometer approach would suggest to you that perhaps this film isn’t worth watching. We here at Cinapse would encourage you to pay no attention to the box office or critics ratings… and trust your Duncan Jones-loving heart. Three of us have covered the film in some capacity and have all found it endearing. Don’t miss David’s Blu-ray review, Brendan’s defense of the film, or my theatrical review with the One Of Us team.
It’s a messy movie with a grand scale and a deep mythology. It’s a silly movie which swings for the rafters and hits hard at times (the Orcs look flat-out amazing), and whiffs at others (that wizard apprentice guy is ROUGH).
We are happy to champion the film and hope to give more people a chance to check it out, so we’re thrilled we have a chance to give away FIVE Blu-ray copies of the film to 5 lucky winners.
