How do you top last year’s phenomenally popular Mondo Halloween Gallery show which has people in line for days waiting to get in? You do a tribute to one of the most beloved American TV horror shows of all time, yes, Tales From the Crypt was celebrated this evening. Featuring original work and prints from popular artists such as; Florian Bertmer, Jack Davis, James Flames, Francesco Francavilla, Drew Millward, Gary Pullin and more! The “It Didn’t Rot Our Brains” show, also features artwork celebrating EC Comics and the antics of one of the their most popular characters, The Crypt Keeper. From the Press Release: Mondo, the collectible art division of the Alamo Drafthouse, will celebrate EC Comics & Tales From The Crypt this Halloween with a gallery show that honors one of the greatest horror television shows of all time and its origins in EC Comics, which produced some of the most original and striking horror artwork. The gallery show will feature original works of art and blood-drenched screen prints and will run from October 25th to November 23rd.
